About:

a place of their own explores social inequalities and injustices through critical thinking and creative practices. We are Fionn (9), Oisin (1), Roma (0), Paula (35) and Sam (33). We live in Hillsborough, Sheffield. Oisin and Roma are at home and about with Paula, who is writing up her PhD on maternity, art, encounters and subjectivity. Fionn is at school and Sam teaches architecture at two universities and is completing a PhD on the potentials of self-organisation within architecture. We started a place of their own in October 2010. The website acts as a place to document and disseminate our work and hopefully initiate conversations and collaborations with others.

The website is currently being developed to reflect the development of our practice and projects.
